Vinyl Wraps
A quality vinyl wrap typically lasts 5–7 years with proper care. Factors include the quality of film used, installation quality, climate exposure, and maintenance habits. Keeping it out of prolonged direct sun and washing by hand significantly extends the life. We use premium films and back every job with our quality guarantee.
No — when installed and removed properly, a vinyl wrap actually protects your factory paint. It acts as a barrier against UV rays, minor abrasions, and environmental contaminants. When it's time to remove, a professional removal will leave your original paint intact. This is why many people wrap their cars before selling — to preserve resale value.
It depends on the severity. Minor surface scratches may be hidden under a wrap, but wraps do not cover dents — the film conforms to the surface and will make a dent more visible, not less. Deep scratches, peeling paint, or rust will need to be addressed before wrapping. When you come in for your free quote, we'll inspect the surface and be upfront about what prep work may be needed. We don't wrap over problems — that leads to early failure.
Hand washing or touchless car washes only. Avoid brush-type automatic car washes — the brushes can lift edges and scratch the film. Don't wax a matte or satin wrap (it changes the finish). Avoid pressure washing directly at edges or seams. Use a pH-neutral soap and microfiber cloths. For fuel spills, clean immediately — fuel can degrade the adhesive if left to sit.
Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a clear thermoplastic urethane film applied to painted surfaces to protect against rock chips, scratches, bug damage, and minor abrasions. It's nearly invisible and some versions are self-healing with heat. If you drive on the freeway, park outside, or own a performance or luxury vehicle, PPF is one of the best investments you can make for preserving your paint and resale value.
PPF is a physical film that protects against impacts — rock chips, door dings, and abrasions. Ceramic coating is a liquid that bonds to paint and makes it hydrophobic (water-repelling) and easier to clean, but does not protect against physical impacts. Many people do both: PPF on high-impact areas (hood, front bumper, mirrors) and ceramic coating over the whole car for a hydrophobic, glossy finish.
PPF pricing varies depending on coverage area and vehicle type. A partial front kit (hood, fenders, mirrors) typically starts around $1,200. A full front kit (adding front bumper and A-pillars) is $1,600–$2,000+. A full vehicle wrap in PPF can range from $4,000–$6,000+ depending on the vehicle. Window Tinting
In California: Front side windows must allow more than 70% of light in (VLT ≥ 70%). Rear side windows and rear window can be any darkness if the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides. Front windshield can only have a tint strip in the top 4 inches. We make sure every tint job is legal and compliant — we won't do anything that will get you a fix-it ticket. We tint to where the AS1 line would be.
Carbon tint gives a darker appearance and blocks UV rays and some infrared heat. It doesn't interfere with radio or GPS signals and is more affordable. Ceramic tint is the premium option — it blocks significantly more infrared heat without making the window darker, offers superior optical clarity, and won't interfere with signals. If you want maximum heat rejection without going darker, ceramic is the way to go. We use Llumar film exclusively.
Most standard vehicles take 2–4 hours for a full tint job. SUVs and trucks may take longer depending on window size and complexity. You'll need to avoid rolling your windows down for at least 2 days after installation to let the adhesive fully cure.
